Gazze Destek Launches the International Reconstruction Campaign for Gaza: Reviving Gaza Together

Gazze Destek Organization has launched the campaign “Reviving Gaza Together” to coordinate donor efforts for sustainable reconstruction in the Gaza Strip. This initiative was launched at the 4th STK International NGO Exhibition held in Istanbul, attended by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The goal is to enhance networking and cooperation among NGOs working in the humanitarian field across the Islamic world. The current edition of the exhibition brought together humanitarian organizations from more than 65 countries, providing a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and build partnerships that contribute to improving humanitarian work and enhancing its impact on targeted communities.

Our booth offered visitors a new experience, taking them deep into the humanitarian suffering in Gaza through a 360° virtual reality experience. They witnessed the life of the displaced, scenes of destruction, the suffering of patients in Gaza, and the resilience of people struggling for survival.

During the exhibition, we also launched the annual reports: ” The Humanitarian Situation of Refugee Areas Worldwide” ” Palestinian Humanitarian Status Report Around the World ” and ” The Report on the Effects of the Aggression on the Gaza Strip and the Priorities for Intervention in the Reconstruction of Gaza

The ” Reviving Gaza Together ” campaign was also announced, which included key projects showcased through interactive screens throughout the exhibition. These projects included:
1. Launch of Temporary Housing Projects and Business Incubators
These projects include green temporary shelters (comprehensive tent and caravan cities that do not require external electricity, water, or natural gas) and business incubators supporting the reconstruction process (industrial incubators, agricultural incubators, and remote work incubators). A hologram of the green residential city project was presented, which provides prefabricated caravans to accommodate 3,000 displaced families in each city.

2. Launch of the AI Humanitarian Platform Prototype
This is an initial version under development that offers integrated services for humanitarian work using artificial intelligence. Feedback from participants was collected for further development based on humanitarian institutions’ needs. Work is ongoing to complete these suggestions and officially launch the platform soon, making it an important reference for AI in humanitarian work.

3. Launch of the Interactive Humanitarian Dashboard on the Impact of the War on Gaza
This interactive dashboard is updated daily with all the damages caused by the war and the needs for each type of damage in the sectors of relief, recovery, reconstruction, and development. It is available in multiple languages at: www.gdd.org/gaza.

4. Presentation of the Initial Proposal for the Global Coordinating Platform for Relief and Sustainable Reconstruction in Gaza
Many development ideas were received for this platform, with the aim of making it the global reference for coordination among humanitarian institutions involved in Gaza’s relief and sustainable reconstruction. It will coordinate donor and implementer efforts to avoid duplication of services and track the progress of reconstruction by monitoring achievements and commitments. The official launch is expected soon, God willing.

5. Launch of the Initial Proposal for the Global Youth Remote Employment Platform (GTL)
This is a comprehensive system for empowering youth to work remotely, aiming to employ 100,000 young people in Gaza remotely after the ceasefire. Feedback from participants was gathered, and lessons from previous experiences were incorporated. Work is ongoing to complete and officially launch the platform soon.

All of these initiatives were introduced during the exhibition, and work is ongoing to develop them in collaboration with partner organizations and specialists to serve sustainable humanitarian work for Gaza’s reconstruction.

The exhibition also witnessed a collaborative and interactive atmosphere among visitors, NGOs, donors, and organizing entities for the presented projects and interactive tools within the exhibition spaces.

Believing in the principles of humanity and the right of every individual to live a dignified life, we invite you to participate in the “Together We Revive Gaza” campaign for temporary housing for the displaced and business incubators supporting sustainable reconstruction. Producing and delivering these to Gaza will take at least three months, which is the minimum that the victims of aggression expect from us to alleviate their suffering.
