Over two million displaced people remain without shelter, no roof to protect them, and no home to keep them warm through freezing nights. More than 85% of Gaza’s homes have been completely destroyed, leaving neighborhoods in ruins. Now begins another battle, the struggle to survive from nothing. In torn tents, entire families endure the merciless cold. Mothers are unable to feed their children, and fathers fight to secure a piece of bread and a cover against the biting wind.
