After the war on Gaza ended, the GDD team conducted its first field visit to Rafah City, witnessing the immense devastation caused by the brutal conflict. Heartbreaking scenes included destroyed homes, streets buried in rubble, and families left without shelter.

Rafah, once a lively city, is now trapped in ruins. Our team has started clearing rubble to help residents move around the city, but they face an acute shortage of basic needs: shelter, food, water, and medical care.

We firmly believe that Gaza deserves a fresh start.
