GAZA IS DYING OF SARVATION
We are launching an emergency humanitarian response to save the lives of 2 million displaced and starved people in the Gaza Strip, who have been suffering under the siege and ongoing war for nearly two years.
In besieged Gaza, the utensils are empty of mercy, and with them the groans of stomachs thirsty for bread ring out; a cry that finds no one to echo it except the silence of the siege.
🔴 Gaza is Dying of Sarvation
Two million people in Gaza are on the brink of dying of starvation due to food insecurity, including 470,000 in acute famine, and thousands of families on the brink of dying starved. To date, we have lost 86 innocent souls amid the groans of starved stomachs, while more than 70,000 children and 17,000 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers need immediate and hastened treatment.
These lives are not numbers: they are cries stifled by hunger and poverty, and names lost in a silence unsuitable to the right to life.
In light of the great impotence and the world’s silence in the face of the cries of the starved people in Gaza, we do not stand idly by. We at Gazze Destek Organization have launched an emergency humanitarian campaign, “Relieve their Starvation,” as part of the Gaza campaign titled “Your Relief is Their Pulse”, to intensify urgent and ongoing efforts to save children and thousands of families under siege.
Our campaign aims to provide urgent and sustainable assistance through our existing programs in Gaza, which we continue to develop and expand to address the challenges of the blockade and destruction, including:
📌 Nutrition and Food Security Program:
- Daily meal projects for displaced families
- Monthly food parcels to satisfy the needs of displaced families
📌 Freshwater and Sanitation Program:
- Well drilling and maintenance
- Drilling a well and installing a solar-powered desalination plant
- Maintenance and rehabilitation of sewage network infrastructure
📌 Good Health Program:
- Providing medical and health services to the displaced people
- Medicines, medical devices and supplies
- Hospital restoration and rehabilitation
Nearly two years of war, siege, and starvation have made it difficult for supplies to arrive, leaving displaced and starving people in Gaza with burdens beyond their ability to bear. Our ready-to-implement programs alone are not enough without the cooperation of your hearts and hands to continue supporting them and strengthening their resilience.
