They are a people who, more than any other, yearn to be loved and to love in return… Their hearts, wounded and broken, deserve the balm of compassion… They are the bereaved, the weary, the slaughtered, the exhausted… They are the extinguished, the lost, the refugees… The displaced, the imprisoned, the tortured… They are those who bid farewell, the departed, the weary…

Yet, they love their land with an unwavering devotion, knowing how to die willingly and out of love for it…
