The light of knowledge shines through, even in the toughest times
A year and a half of war has brought life to a halt in Gaza’s education sector. Schools have shut down, classrooms turned into shelters, and the dreams of thousands of children in Gaza have been suspended in a long, uncertain wait. For 470 days, they have been left without education, without books, and without shared aspirations among friends.
As the world celebrates the International Day of Education on January 24, Gaza stands out with painful statistics reflecting the dire state of education in the besieged city.
Yet, even in the midst of darkness, the light of knowledge remains the strongest weapon of hope.
Our Projects Supporting Education in Gaza:
At Gazze Destek, we believe that education is a right for all, even in the harshest of circumstances. This belief gave rise to our pioneering initiative, the “Educational Tents Project”, which provides a safe and temporary learning environment for children, giving them the opportunity to return to school and revive their suspended dreams.
Our projects
1️⃣ Setting up educational tents for primary schools in Gaza.
2️⃣ Establishing eco-friendly schools (primary, middle, and high schools) using prefabricated units.
3️⃣ Distributing 4,000 school supply kits to displaced students in the region.
With every donation, we put a book back into a child’s hands and illuminate the path to learning amidst the darkness of crisis.
Each project is a lifeline for these children, opening doors to their future and lighting the path of knowledge amidst the challenges they face.
Support the Educational Tents Project to ensure the continuation of education and to restore hope in the hearts of children who, despite the horrors of war, have not lost their passion for learning.
470 days without education is enough… Together, let’s write them a new story of success.
