GDD prepares thousands of meals for distribution in the shelter centers

Despite the difficult circumstances and the lack of fuel, the GDD team replaces fuel with firewood to prepare thousands of meals for displaced families in the shelter centers in the Gaza Strip. They are living in very dire and difficult humanitarian conditions due to the lack of water and electricity, as well as a shortage of food and constant shelling in Gaza.

It’s worth noting that there are more than 1,500,000 displaced individuals due to the bombing and destruction of their homes, which accounts for approximately 60% of the Gaza Strip’s population without shelter. Half of them are in emergency shelters, and the other half are in hospitals, churches, and public facilities.
